Land Development Manager

If you have at least 5 years of experience working as a Land development manager with a Residential Developer this might be an opportunity for you!

Our client is a fast growing Development firm specializing in the Residential sector. They have new projects coming up, and are looking to add a Land Development Manager to their ever-growing team.

Responsibilities:

- The Land Development Manager will be involved in coordination with planners and several municipalities in order to get the necessary approvals for multiple developments and construction projects.
- The Land Development Manager will lead the approval process such as Official Plan amendment, Zoning, Draft Plan/Site Plan approval and subdivision registration
- The Land Developer Manager will complete applications and paperwork for submission to consultants as well as government agencies
- The Land development Manager will work in the best interests of the project and ensure that everyone on the team is on the same page
- The Land Development manager will provide weekly updates on all projects and must be submit them to management

Academic/Professional Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Architecture

- Additional professional designation and/or certification would be an asset.


Requirements:

- Must have minimum 5 Years of Land Development experience
- Must have Low/Mid Rise Development experience
- Must have knowledge of the Ontario Planning System, including relevant legislation and the development approval process
- Must have knowledge of Planning Legislation such as Official Plans, Secondary Plans and Zoning By-laws
- The Land Development Manager must have proven experience with facilitating conversation with Municipal and Regional approval authorities
- Intermediate knowledge of Google Drive Suite and AutoCAD
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Highly efficient and effective in working in an individual as well as team environment

Compensation Package Offered:


- $120,000 - $150,000 per year
