Junior or Intermediate Arboriculturist
Location: Essex / Remote based working
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 plus package and training
Summary
A National Rail Services Provider offering bespoke services to the Rail industry ranging from Facilities Maintenance, Buildings & Project works, Waste Management, Specialist Services, and Arboricultural & Environmental Services is looking to take on an Junior or Intermediate Arboriculturist to join their Environmental and Sustainability Division.
This is an exciting role where you will have the opportunity to work within bespoke dedicated services, primarily to rail infrastructure clients, but also to differing sectors.
Whilst working as an Arboriculturist, you will be involved in:
- Working with the Head of Arboriculture.
- Liaising with clients, client contracts, project managers and stakeholders.
- Tree ident for our Specialised Drone Survey team.
- Site inspections to report back to the Head of Arboriculture.
- A varied range of arboricultural reports, surveys and inspections.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Hold a Level 3 or 4 Arboricultural Qualification.
- Have excellent tree ident skills and a working knowledge of common pests & diseases.
- Hold a Full UK driving licence.
- Be based within a 1 hour commute of Head Office in Rayleigh, Essex, remote working is also available
- Have excellent reporting capabilities, with the ability to work to a set deadline.
The following would be advantageous:
- LANTRA Professional Tree Inspector.
Other Information
The business will also provide a Personal Track Safety competency, a suitable vehicle and fuel card and all PPE and equipment required to carry out the role.
Rail experience is not necessary, as all training will be provided.
