Intermediate Estimator

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Construction Estimator with residential experience to join our team in Toronto . As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely estimates for construction projects. You will work closely with our project managers and clients to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Intermediate Estimator Responsibilities:
-Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine material and labor requirements
-Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects
-Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
-Provide technical guidance and support to project managers and construction teams
-Ensure that all estimates are submitted on time and meet client requirements
-Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders to develop project scopes and budgets
-Analyze project data to identify areas for cost savings and value engineering
-Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required


Intermediate Estimator Requirements:
-3+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on residential projects
-Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills
-Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
-Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
-Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred
