Position: Hydrogeologist Location: Berlin, Germany/ or Hamburg/ Germany

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hydrogeological assessments, including groundwater modeling, monitoring, and remediation strategies.
  • Analyze and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations for sustainable water resource management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hydrogeological considerations into civil engineering projects.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to clients and stakeholders through reports, presentations, and meetings.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in hydrogeology to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/ Master's or Ph.D. in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience in hydrogeological assessments, groundwater modeling, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools such as MODFLOW, FEFLOW, or similar groundwater modeling software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluency in German; English language proficiency is a plus.
  • Training programmes available ot get you up to a senior level
