Job Description

Are you an experienced Estimator looking or a few role, or to take the next step, or a Senior Estimator seeking a new role with an industrial contractor? Our client, a well established Tier 2 industrial construction company, is expanding their commercial team and is looking for a driven, collabarative, friendly professional to join them in their Market Harborough office.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a diverse range of industrial projects, with a strong focus on:

  • Industrial new-build sheds

  • Steel frame structures

  • Concrete cladding packages

  • Full industrial design-and-build projects

You’ll be responsible for delivering accurate tenders, assessing project requirements, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, and producing detailed cost plans that support the business in securing high-value industrial works.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited ro)

  • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for industrial construction projects

  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documents

  • Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather essential cost data

  • Produce tender submissions 

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience estimating industrial projects

  • Strong background in steel frames, concrete cladding, and industrial new-builds

  • Ability to work from technical drawings and provide accurate cost breakdowns

  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of modern industrial construction methods

  • Excellent communication, numeracy, and IT skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Industrial background - Sheds/High rise/ Student accom/ New build/Refurb and more
