Environmental Advisor

Job Description

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Enviromental Advisor to be part of delivering one of the most complex marine engineering projects currently taking place in the world to support the construction of the first new nuclear power station built in the UK in a generation.

My client are a major tier one contractor looking to expand their permanent team. 

Key responsibilities for this Enviromental Advisor role:

  • Provide support and advice to operational teams on all aspects of environmental management, developing environmental documentation, meeting legal and company standards, and helping deliver a culture of continual improvement. 
  • Support on site pollution prevention & control mitigation, sustainability of works
    and engagement with members of the project workforce at all levels

Experience required for this Enviromental Advisor role:

  • Degree level education, Environmental Sciences
  • Hold a related Environmental Auditor qualification
  • IEMA Membership
  • Full UK D/L
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Understanding of the Construction, Civil Engineering operating environments (will consider different background or sector)

Package offered for this Enviromental Advisor role:

  • An attractive / negotiated salary of £35,000-40,000
  • 42 base hours per week
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Pension savings scheme of 5% match
  • Subsistence and travel (where applicable) paid
