Navartis are working exclusively with a well respected engineering consultancy firm to recruit an engineering manager into their current team.
This role is an opportunity to join a growing company who value individuals who are passionate about their work, demonstrating an approach of high-quality service within the rolling stock sector. The role will be a mixture of work from their office based in Edinburgh and their maintenance depot in Hamilton.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring and maintenance of CMS & SMS systems
- Conducting internal audits, supplier audits and providing quality assurance
- Production of work instructions for modifications to current stock
- Oversee all changes to vehicle maintenance instructions
- Performing staff competence assessments
- Producing incident reports, monitoring and tracking all exam records for examinations performed
Seeking candidates with:
- Experience in rolling stock engineering, ability to demonstrate technical knowledge
- Ability to perform diagnostics and prognostics,
- Proficient ability working with routine maintenance at railway depot operations
- Familiarity with UK standards of rolling stock
- Comprehensive understanding of safety protocols and regimes within the rail sector
Package on offer:
- Salary of up to £52,000 (dependant on experience)
