This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 engineering consultancy who specialise in delivering innovative and sustainable data centre projects globally.

Our client is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their Mission Critical team working on hyperscale and colocation data centre projects across the UK and Europe. These projects are high-value, technically challenging, and ongoing for the next 5+ years, offering fantastic long-term career potential.

Package offered for this Electrical Engineer role:
· Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)

Key responsibilities for this Electrical Engineer role:
· Reporting into the Electrical Director.
· Supporting the design and delivery of electrical systems for data centres, including MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, and lighting
· Preparing technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit or similar software
· Coordinating with mechanical, structural and fire teams to deliver fully integrated solutions
· Attending client meetings and design reviews, presenting technical information clearly and confidently
· Supporting commissioning activities and providing technical input during construction
· Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and Tier classifications (Tier III/Tier IV)

Experience required for this Electrical Engineer role:
· Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
· Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is desirable
· Proven experience in the design of electrical systems, ideally in data centres, critical facilities, or complex building services projects
· Good knowledge of relevant standards (BS7671, IEC, NFPA etc.)
· Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
