About the Business Support Manager role:
The Business Support Manager will provide high-quality, comprehensive administrative and operational support to the site management team. You’ll act as the main point of coordination across meetings, reporting, and stakeholder engagement while overseeing key financial and onboarding processes.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same, ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, structure, and collaboration.
The key requirements for this Business Support Manager role are:
- Provide full administrative support to the management team, including diary coordination, meeting organisation, and event management.
- Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and reports; track deadlines and follow up on actions.
- Support senior managers with correspondence, communications, and document preparation.
- Act as the first point of contact for internal teams and external visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
- Coordinate and oversee financial administration, including invoicing, requisitions, and expenditure tracking.
- Liaise with the finance team to ensure accurate billing and adherence to company processes.
- Support onboarding of new starters, including induction, access, and workspace setup.
- Maintain site consumables, PPE, and general supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Work closely with the management team to uphold company presentation and operational standards.
Experience required for this Business Support Manager role are:
- Educated to A-Level or equivalent
- Proven experience in a Business Support Manager or similar administrative leadership role
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Experienced in handling financial and confidential information
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desirable knowledge, skills & experience for this Business Support Manager role are:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Previous experience supporting operational or technical environments
