Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering and environmental consulting firm. They are currently seeking a skilled Building Restoration - Structural Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in utilizing various software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation to assist in the design and construction of buildings. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for engineering and project management.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with architects and construction teams to draft building plans using software like Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and Mathcad
- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed drawings and schematics
- Conduct site visits to assess building conditions and ensure compliance with design specifications
- Assist in project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Provide technical support during the construction phase to address any design-related issues

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10 years of Building Science Experience

- Professional Engineer (P. Eng.), in good standing with the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).

- Proficiency in CAD software including Bluebeam, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Revit
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in project management is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
