Salary:          £40,000 - £45,000 + Package inc 10% Car Allowance

The Opportunity:

My client is an award-winning contractor who are seeking a Bid Coordinator to join their Northwest region, the ideal candidate will be well placed for Manchester, where they have recently acquired new luxury high end offices based in the heart of the city.

They are a highly successful, established, cash rich contractors and have a strong reputation as a great employer who work on New Build Industrial and Commercial projects valued from £10 million to £90 million.

Experience working on Industrial schemes would be desirable for this position but not essential and the successful candidate will have delivered projects of circa £20m in value. 

My client would also consider somebody who is based out of the West Midlands.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that bid documents are collated and completed to their best possible quality including consistent branding and language for submission.
  • Working closely with the Pre-Construction Director to plan, prepare and design tenders, interview presentations and any other required documentation needed for bespoke submissions.
  • Coordinating tenders from start to submission, contributing content where necessary
  • Update and maintain a library of company standard bid documents.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of bids and their outcomes, from which management reporting can be produced.
  • Any other duties consistent with the role of Bid & Proposals Coordinator as may be required from time to time.

Requirements:

  •  Experience in coordinating/managing the bidding process, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Excellent IT skills - proficient in Microsoft suite of programmes (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient experience using Adobe InDesign software.
  • Previous experience within a similar role in the industrial sector.
  • 3 + years experience working as a Bid Coordinator.
