Company Information
A fast paced principal Rail contractor is looking to take on a Graduate or Assistant Level Environmental Advisor to cover various projects in the North West and to ensure that an effective customer focused Environment and Sustainability Service is provided to major project delivery teams.
Based in Manchester with remote & site travel as required.
The position is open to candidates with different levels of experience, including graduates and experienced professionals.
Seeking candidate with:
- Previous experience in a similar role (1/2 years' experience) would be beneficial, ideally within the rail sector but will consider graduates with a passion for environment and sustainability and a willingness to learn and develop new skills in other sectors.
- Practical experience of effective implementation of ISO14001.
- Experience of liaising with regulatory authorities, the general public and the client is preferable..
- Development, implementation and monitoring of environmental and social value plans for the company.
