A Successful Principal Contractors Licence holder and key supplier to Network Rail with vast experience in the rail industry specialising in design, install, test and commissioning is looking to take on an Assistant Project Manager
The Assistant Project Manager will work within an established project team experienced in a wide range of railway disciplines
To be suitable for the Assistant Project Manager role you will ideally have:
3+ years of previous experience in project management related role
Experience in the Delivery of M&E or E&P projects to Network Rail Standards, his could include some or all of the following:-
- Signalling Power
- Points Heating
- Junction Lighting
- Walkway Lighting
- Earthing & Bonding
- HV works
- LV Distribution
- M&E Station upgrades and new builds
- Test & Inspection
- Tag & Trace survey reports
- Load Monitoring & Electrical Survey reports
Ideal Competencies but training can be provided:
- PTS
- COSS
- Electrical trade qualification (NVQ Level 3 or above)
- Test & Inspection
- ECS/CSCS
- Management of Health & Safety Training experience (e.g.SMSTS or similar)
- Previous CRE approvals and experience
Duties of the role
You will be responsible with undertaking the role of Assistant Project Manager on specific projects as required, liaising with teams to ensure technical specifications are issued as required for client and sub-contractors, support the overall technical co-ordination of allocated project areas on behalf of the Directors to ensure that the engineering work required is completed to programme and to the required quality.
