The Architectural Technician role:
A busy and well-established multidisciplinary practice in Birmingham is looking to add an Architectural Technician to its team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative studio working across a variety of sectors, including commercial, industrial and education. The successful candidate will play an important role in the production and coordination of technical information, supporting the delivery of projects through RIBA stages 4-5. You'll be working closely with senior staff, external consultants and contractors, producing high-quality technical drawings and ensuring compliance with current building regulations.
To be considered for the Architectural Technician position:
- Proficiency in Revit
- Good understanding of current UK building regulations
- Experience producing and coordinating detailed technical information
- Project delivery experience (RIBA stages 4-5) desirable
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in a construction or architectural discipline
- Ideally 2+ years' experience within an architectural or design practice
