We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator to join our dynamic team at a leading construction contractor based in South Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Responsibilities for this Accounts Payable Administrator role:
- Process and reconcile invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update vendor files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Prepare and process payment runs in accordance with company policies.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Generate financial reports as needed.
Qualifications and Skills for this Accounts Payable Administrator role:
- Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in an accounts payable role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
Salary: Dependent on Experience (DOE), ranging from €37,500 to €40,000.
