Accounts Payable Administrator

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator to join our dynamic team at a leading construction contractor based in South Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a similar role within the construction industry.

Responsibilities for this Accounts Payable Administrator role:

  1. Process and reconcile invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  2. Maintain and update vendor files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  3. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
  4. Prepare and process payment runs in accordance with company policies.
  5. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
  6. Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  7. Generate financial reports as needed.

Qualifications and Skills for this Accounts Payable Administrator role:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in an accounts payable role within the construction industry.
  2. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  3. Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  7. Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.

Salary: Dependent on Experience (DOE), ranging from €37,500 to €40,000.
