Senior Civil Engineer

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a well known Tier 1 contractor working on Major Projects within the Infrastructure sector.
The company is a well know Tier 1 contractor who operate nationwide throughout the UK and have a number of Regional offices. Your role as Senior Civil Engineer you will joining an award winning business who will be part of the design team within the utilities, civils and capital project type work.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract with the view of the role becoming permanent for the right individual.

Key responsibilities for this Senior Civil Engineer role:
- Manage frameworks from a civil engineering perspective, working with a team of surveyors, civil engineers and CAD staff to deliver design schemes to the client.
- Process driven, understanding the gateway design processes and work with the framework delivery teams to deliver approved designs to the framework teams.
- Oversee the production of the civils design, carrying out checks and signing off designs for construction.
- Management of design subcontractors when needed to deliver workload

Experience required for this Senior Civil Engineer role:
- Hold a Civil Engineering qualification to degree standard.
- Experience of working in a team environment at a supervisory level.
- Able to delegate and work closely with an internal team to deliver design packages.
- Ability to present design solutions to client articulating reasoning and design decisions made.
Package offered for this Senior Civil Engineer role:
This is a 12 month fixed term contract, with the possibility of this becoming a permanent position for the right individual
- Basic Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience
- Flexible working-Mainly remote working but travel required to sites and office as and when required. MUST be flexible on travel when needed
