Rolling Stock Engineers design and oversee the manufacturing process and installation of rail vehicles. This includes locomotives, carriages, wagons and multiple units. Rolling Stock Engineers design new trains and electrical or mechanical parts, supervise modifications and resolve any technical problems. Rolling Stock Engineers also perform maintenance duties, ensuring trains are in good condition and meet quality and safety standards.

  • read and follow written technical instructions

  • carry out regular checks on brakes and couplings

  • take apart, test and reassemble mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems

Stanley Avenue

Niagara Falls city council recently approved an application to pick up a never-completed hotel project and refashion it into a world-renowned mixed-use building. This project is estimated to be costing $400m and will see the rise of a 72-storey, mixed-use building with 456 hotel rooms and 275 dwelling units.
