Located approximately 170 kilometres north of Munich, Nuremberg is the 14th largest city in Germany with an estimated population of 518,370. This property, which is listed as an industrial icon, located to the west of Nuremberg's old town, between the Frankenschnellweg and Fürther Straße is set to become a new mixed-use development. It will include residential, office, gastronomy and retail uses and supplemented by social facilities. Construction work began in spring 2021 and could cost a total of approximately €700 million.
Nuremberg-Berlin Project (VDE 8)
This is Germany’s largest and most innovative infrastructure project, which will include 56km of tunnels and 27km of viaducts. Investment for the project amounts to around €10 billion from the Federal Republic of Germany, the European Union and Deutsche Bahn AG.
