This is a great opportunity for an experienced Tunnelling Shift Manager to join a main contractor on Hinckley Point.
Our client is looking for a Tunnelling Shift Manager to join them working on the Civil Engineering/Tunnelling aspects of the project. This is an initial 6 month contract, with the potential opportunity for an extension. This role falls inside IR35.

Package offered for this Tunnelling Shift Manager role:
· £450-£550 per day based on experience
· Inside IR35
· 6 month initial contract with potential for future extension
Key responsibilities for this Tunnelling Shift Manager role:
- Leading a team
- Managing site operations of the tunnelling sector as well as sub contractors
- Oversee daily operations
- Manage resource on site
- Supervise
- Ensure H&S is in place onsite and adhered to as well as quality
- Monitor progress
- Reporting
- Liaising with other teams
- Problem solving
Experience required for this Tunnelling Shift Manager role:
- Experience in a similar role
- Tunnelling experience
- This is working on a rotation and a mixture of dan and nights therefore flexibility is required
- Security Clearance will need to be applied for if successful
