The Technical Coordinator role:
A rapidly growing, stable housing developer are looking to appoint a Technical Coordinator with an Architectural bias to join their team based in Wolverhampton. The role will primarily focus on local private and affordable housing schemes across Wolverhampton & Shropshire. This will be an office based position with occasional site visits and the option for flexible working. The successful candidate will report directly to the Technical Director, ensuring the company carries out its contractual responsibilities for coordination of construction details, managing the flow of design information and working on projects at different stages from Pre-Construction to completion.
The main purpose of the role will be to produce and manage detailed drawing packages, liaising with external consultants and ensuring NHBC conditions and building regulations are adhered to. Candidates with an Architectural background with experience working directly for or alongside a housing developer is preferable.
To be considered for the Technical Coordinator position:
HNC/Degree in Architecture
Experience working for a developer or architectural practice
Good knowledge of UK building regulations and NHBC
