£40000-£50000 (depending on experience) + Generous car allowance/company car, bonus scheme, private healthcare + package

The Project Coordinator role:
A well established, stable developer are looking for a Project Coordinator to join their team in Birmingham on local and affordable housing schemes across Birmingham. This is an office based position and you will report directly to the Technical Director, ensuring the company carries out its contractual responsibilities for coordination of construction details, managing the flow of design information and working on projects at different stages of the life-cycle from Pre-Construction to when the site goes live.

Despite the current market conditions, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected company who have had a substantial amount of investment and a long logbook of consistent work. You will typically coordinate 4 projects at a time, all of which will be at different stages from tender stage to handover. My client will consider candidates from an Architectural or Engineering background and they are looking for someone who is able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

To be considered for the Development Coordinator position:

  • HNC or degree in Construction or similar field
  • Experience working for a developer, architectural practice or consultancy preferred
  • Ideally 6 months experience working as a Development Coordinator or similar role
  • Architectural or engineering background preferred but not essential
