Team Leader – Railway Infrastructure & Transportation Facilities (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team both technically and in terms of personnel development

  • Contribute to recruitment efforts and help shape the team culture

  • Coordinate project workload and align internal and external capacities

  • Prepare and review proposals and calculations for planning services

  • Take ownership of deadlines, budgets, and quality standards

  • Oversee and review planning outcomes to ensure compliance with specifications

  • Present project results to stakeholders and the public

  • Drive innovation in project planning—introducing new methods such as BIM or AI-powered tools

  • Support technical aspects of railway route design and optimization

  • Manage planning tasks for railway infrastructure projects aligned with HOAI service phases 1–7 and 9

Your Profile:

  • Degree in civil engineering, railway transport engineering, or a related field

  • Extensive professional experience in railway infrastructure planning

  • Prior leadership experience is a plus

  • Proficient in tools such as ProVi, AutoCAD, and BIM platforms

  • Knowledge of German HOAI regulations for service phases and bidding

  • Fluent in both German and English

  • Strong communication, organizational, and budget management abilities

  • A collaborative approach with a passion for leadership and innovation
