Site Manager required a market leading Civils Contractor , and as the site manager who will work as part of the civil department, overseeing works being undertaken on projects of various sizes in the Cork Area.
Key responsibilities for this Site Manager role:
- Coordinate and supervise the construction of a civils project.
- To represent the company on-site and serve as a liaison between the business and the client.
- Ensure the quality of the work is up to standards, is completed on schedule, and is within budget.
- Management of the supply chain's purchasing and on-site delivery procedures
- Ensure works are carried out to the required quality, programme, health & safety, and environmental standards, in full compliance with the planning permission and building regulations.
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of the subcontractors
- Ensure adherence to health and safety and environmental policies and ensure safe systems of work are planned and implemented on assigned projects.
- To offer technical assistance as necessary during the tendering process.
Experience required for this Site Manager role:
- A relevant degree in construction management
- Minimum 4 years’ previous experience managing civils projects in Ireland or the UK
- Must be able to work independently and assume ownership and responsibility for a project from beginning to end.
- Previous experience within the water industry would be an advantage.
Package offered for this Site Manager role:
- €62,500 - €70k base salary DOE.
