In a Nutshell…

We have a new opportunity for a Site Manager to join our team at our site in Surry. As our Site Manager, you will help with the day-to-day delivery of site-based project. You will assist in the control and delivery of construction projects to meet customer specifications (safety, quality, time, etc.) such that all risk, specification, and project objectives are met in full. To effectively motivate, support and manage the site-based team to ensure that the required health, safety and environmental performance standards are achieved. To achieve the programme and quality requirements. You will promote the importance of customer relationships to the site-based team to include directly employed and sub-contracted staff.  Complete all relevant paperwork as required.

  • CSCS Card
  • Experience working on new build projects and working on Schools
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Site Manager role for a leading contractor, or property developer
  • Ability to manage multiple trades confidently
  • SMSTS qualified
  • Strong focus on Health & Safety
  • Demonstrates ability to adhere to strict deadlines and deliver high volumes of quality work on time

Desirable –

  • NVQ Level 3-4 BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar
  • Valid First Aid at Work Certificate
  • Managing all aspects of the build process
  • Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety obligations and building legislation

  • The overall control and effective management of the development/section of a development
  • Managing the day to day activities on site to focus on the successful completion of the development/section of a development
  • Managing all activity to ensure the successful implementation of the build programme
  • Maximising the performance of all site personnel and all outside contractors
  • Managing positive purchaser relationships and promote the company’s reputation in the public arena
  • Ensuring best practice with regard to Health and Safety and fire prevention
  • Proposing improvements in systems and procedures to the Block Manager/Construction Director
  • Ensuring the implementation, monitoring and compliance of the company’s Quality Control procedures
  • Maintaining accurate reporting and internal and external communication
  • Deputising and representing the Block Manager
  • Promoting the company’s image and managing its reputation for providing the highest standards of health, safety and welfare of all staff and visitors
  • Ensure environmental/sustainability issues are promoted and managed on site
  • Manage all aspects of site administration including up to date information is available and accurate record keeping is in place
