Site Manager

Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a Site Manager to join a leading specialist within the highways division currently focusing on Highways England contracts working on large infrastructure projects around the Bristol area.

The Company is a well know UK leading specialist contractor that has been established for over 65 years for the management of concrete structures and buildings and due to a rapid growth in the size of the company they are looking to welcome more and more people to their award-winning company.

Key responsibilities for this Site Manager position:
- Contribute to our uncompromising health & safety for all mission by ensuring company SHEQ and ensuring that the company SHEQ procedures are being complied with
- Planning, programming, and resourcing site activities
- Maintaining accurate site records including site measurement sheets, site diary, plant and labour returns, goods received sheets, drawing register, as built drawings
- Implementing the Company's Quality procedures, development of Quality Plan, ensuring that all QC testing and records are carried out
- Managing of site staff, operatives, sub-contractors, and suppliers
- Liaising and meeting with clients, consulting engineers, surveyor, sub-contractors, and others and provide technical advice to site staff and feedback to estimators on outputs.
- Ordering and approving materials, plant, and subcontract purchases
- Budgeting, monitoring and control of site costs and provide accurate information to Contracts Managers for regional monthly contract appraisals and other reports as required

Experience required for the Site manager position:
- Ideally experience within Concrete maintenance however open to a strong civils, highways or infrastructure background
- Knowledge of either JCT or NEC contract would be beneficial
- Experience in SHEQ procedures and CDM regulations,

Package offered for this for this role:
- Excellent salary fully negotiable depending on level of experience ranging up to £55,000
- 26 holiday days plus bank holidays
- Company Pension of up to 7%
- Private Healthcare
