Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Colchester
Day rate: £400p/d CIS
Start: ASAP - subject to notice
A fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager has arisen with a Principal Contractor to work on a 11kv – 132kv substation builds.
Key responsibilities for this role Site Manager:
• Managing site set up
• Managing the civil works
• Managing the transformer installations
• Monitoring of subcontractors
• Production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Chairing weekly meetings (safety, co-ordination, project and progress meetings)
• Responsible for site Health & Safety under the guidance of the Health & Safety Manager
Experience / qualifications required for this role Site Manager:
• SMSTS(essential)
• 3 day first aid (essential)
• TWC (preferable)
• HV and substation experience
• M&E and Civils background – able to do inception to completion
• HV / Substation experience
• Long-term work
