Site Manager
Location: Manchester / North West
Salary / Benefits:
£45,000 - £55,000 - and package including:
- Car or Car Allowance

Summary
An established and experienced railway infrastructure contractor is looking to take on an experienced Site Manager to support multidisciplinary railway / civils works in the North West.
The successful candidate will be involved in the daily management and production of all the construction activities on specific project sites which include the following duties:
- Daily toolbox talks
- Daily and weekly planning
- Resource planning including materials and equipment
- Managing of in-house teams and sub-contractors
- Compiling work package planes and method statements and producing RAMS
- Site administration including site diary, timesheets, and plant returns etc.
- Management of the works and solving of technical issues
- Managing health and safety including the reporting thereof
Requirements:
- A construction or civil engineering qualification
- Proven experience as a Site Manger on rail projects
- Exposure to large civil engineering railway projects
- Experience in managing teams and subcontractors simultaneously
- Ideally hold PTS, SSSTS / SMSTS, COSS, Full First Aider, Temporary Works Supervisor etc
