About the Role

As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering highways and civil engineering schemes on high-speed roads. You will be responsible for ensuring works are completed to specification, working closely with site teams, and supporting supervisors to maintain programme and safety standards. This is role will be based in multiple areas where the sites are, Midlands, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, North West.

Key Requirements

  • Supervising and supporting site activities such as:

    • Kerbing, drainage, ducting, cabling and concreting

    • Trenching, flagging, earthworks and chamber construction

    • Interpreting drawings and specifications

  • Ensuring compliance with site rules and Health & Safety policies

  • Coordinating with the site team and maintaining professional communication

  • Representing the company positively to the public, residents, and stakeholders

Experience Required

  • Previous experience working on high-speed roads or civil engineering projects

  • Strong understanding of highways construction methods

  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)

Desirable Knowledge / Skills

  • CSCS Operative Card (essential)

  • NPORS / CPCS training (Excavators, Dumpers, Rollers)

  • NRSWA accreditation (desirable)

  • Cat & Genny training

  • Safe excavation techniques

  • Roller and Dumper tickets
