Job Title: Site Engineer

A fantastic Site Engineer opportunity has arisen with a Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor. This will be working on the Civils scope of works on a major Power / Energy project based in Southampton.
The successful Site Engineer will be responsible for delivering the works on time through allocating tasks to Assistant Engineers, understanding the project set-up and using the delivery information to produce a short-term programme to complete the works within the required time period.

Key responsibilities of this Site Engineer role:
• Engineering - identify the need for Temporary Works and coordinate with the TW Coordinator, be responsible for the setting out ensuring design drawings are completed.
• Financial Management - work closely with the QS, understanding basic costs for labour & materials.
• Health & Safety - manage subcontractors & suppliers to construct works safely.
• BIM - understanding of documentation & standards.
Experience required for this Site Engineer role:
• Experience working for a Contractor on Civils projects, particularly RF & Groundworks ideal.
• Engineering experience.
• Will require existing / obtaining of security clearance.
Package offered for this role:
• £30,000 - £3,000 base salary DOE
• Co car / car allowance

• 26 days annual leave + BH
