Location

Manchester, Doncaster, York, Derby, Birmingham Swindon & Cardiff

Salary / Benefits:

£36,000 - £50,000 dependant on level of experience plus package

An industry leader in Rail Design consultancy services is looking to recruit Signalling Design Engineers in various locations in the UK.

Keen to hear from candidates with;

- A current IRSE Signalling Design License
- Previous experience of Signalling control systems
- Knowledge of interfaces between signaling/system engineering and other railway disciplines and how these are managed
- The ability to use the design software in the discipline (CAD etc)
- Any experience in ETCS (ERTMS L2) design, implementation, and integration of trackside system architecture desirable but not essential.

What you'll be doing

- undertaking and overseeing production of Signalling designsCarry out design and assessment work for signalling elements of projects with minimal supervision
- Keep up to date with current NR, RSSB and British standards relevant to signalling design
- Prepare design and assessment reports and produce mark ups and sketches for CAD technicians
- Communicate effectively with other design/construction disciplines and sub-contractors
