We are looking for a senior quantity surveyor to join an established Design and build contractor.
With Live projects in Preston and Maghull, you will operate as a lead surveyor on your project, working closely with a PM who also manages site operations, meaning you must be comfortable driving the job commercially without layers of management above you.
A strong understanding of Design & Build procurement, getting the design right early, and maintaining control of programme and cost throughout is essential.
The role will require site presence with weekly contact into the Mansfield office, and would suit someone who is happy to travel between site and office.
This is a contractor that values practical experience over tier 1 background and is looking for surveyors who know how to run jobs, not just report on them.
