Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: London (NW)
Summary
One of the UK's largest infrastructure contractors are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Quantity Surveyor work on a major NEC Civils project at Old Oak Common - one of the UK's most significant infrastructure developments.
You will take commercial responsibility for key packages of work under the NEC form of contract. You will work closely with project teams to ensure cost efficiency, contractual compliance, and accurate forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be required to undertake all duties within the commercial department and project teams such as;
- Manage and administer NEC contracts (main and subcontracts)
- Lead on cost control, valuations, and change management
- Prepare and negotiate interim and final accounts
- Provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting
- Support procurement and subcontract management activities
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and client representatives
Person Specification for the Senior Quantity Surveyor Role
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the civil engineering or infrastructure sector
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (essential)
- Experience on major rail or civils projects preferred
- Excellent commercial acumen and communication skills
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Professional membership (MRICS or equivalent) desirable
Salary / Package: Circa £65,000 - £68,000 per annum, negotiable dependant on experience plus package including;
- Company Car / Car allowance (£5250)
