Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) - Major Utilities Project
Location: Reading & South East (Hybrid)
Salary: up to £95,000 p/annum plus benefits (pension, health insurance, 25 days AL, travel reimbursement)
About the Role:
We are seeking Senior Quantity Surveyors to lead commercial delivery on major utilities infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in managing cost control, risk, and contract compliance on schemes valued at £1m+.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead pre and post-contract activities
- Develop and manage cost plans and budgets
- Oversee tendering and procurement
- Manage NEC/JCT contracts and variations
- Mentor junior QS team members
Requirements:
- Significant experience in utilities/infrastructure projects
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Chartered status preferred
- Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
