I am working with a Main Contractor that is looking fora Senior Quantity Surveyor to the join the team to support the growth of the business as they expand into Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cheshire helping with Major Projects with the potential to progress into more senior roles

Package offered for this Senior Quantity Surveyor Role
- £80,000 to £100,000 (depending on experience)
- 6% pension contributions

Key responsibilities for this senior Quantity Surveyor role
- Support Project Scope and Design from a Commercial Perspective, Identifying Opportunities and Mitigating Risks
- Advise on Contract Conditions, Manage Procurement Strategy, and Resolve Contractual Issues or Disputes
- Implement Cost Control Measures, Manage Variations, and Ensure Compliance with Main Contract Obligations
- Produce Cost Reports, Cash Flow Forecasts, and CVRs, Interpreting Deviations and Maintaining Audit Trails
- Lead Risk and Opportunity Reviews, Manage Claims for Delay and Loss, and Issue Payment Notices in line with Contracts
- Represent the Company Professionally, Contribute to Pre Construction Planning, and Lead, Mentor, and Develop Commercial Teams
What you need to be considered for this Senior Quantity Surveyor
- 10 + years' experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Residential, Refurbishment or Distribution Centres)
- Experience Tendering Single Stage or Two Stage
- Experience working with Tier One Contractors on Complex and High-End Office Space Projects
- Experience on Fit Out and or Refurbishment Projects (Offices, Student Accommodation, Commercial Buildings – Structural alterations/Steel Structure Project experience)
- Have a valid CSCS card
- Membership of a relevant professional body and/or relevant professional qualification is desirable, such as RICS/CIOB/RIBA/ICE/CIBSE
