Senior Quantity Surveyor required in Leeds for a top main contractor!
Navartis is working with a UK Top 10 Main Contractor who operate in Civil Engineering & Infrastructure sectors and work on many prestigious major frameworks and projects in Rail, Civil Engineering, Water, and Energy sectors.
You would join their team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and work from their West Yorkshire office in Leeds.
They have been completing numerous major infrastructure projects and frameworks around the UK for over 70 years and currently have a major Rail project in the Leeds area that they are delivering and are looking to add to their commercial team.
Experience required for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- Civil Engineering / Infrastructure Sector background.
- 5 years + experience in Quantity Surveying
- NEC 3 / NEC 4 Contract experience
- Strong time management
- Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate
- Degree in Quantity Surveying (Desirable)
Duties include:
- Reporting to and Assisting the Commercial Management team on the project.
- Managing commercials of allocated project or packages of work
- Commercial reporting
- Responsible for devising valuations and applications for payment
- Contract Management – NEC
- Sub contractor payments and accounts
- Cost Reporting & Forecasts
- Identification of risks, value engineering and change.
- Management of junior members of staff

Further details:
- Established top 10 UK main contractor with lots of work ongoing, and some excellent projects to be working on within their rail and major projects team.
- Hybrid working – 4 days in their Leeds office / West Yorkshire site office. 1 day working from home.
- Salary £60,000 to £69,000 depending on your experience level
