Job title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Hereford
Salary: £55,000 - £75,000
Additional: Car Allowance, Medical, 10%Bonus

Navartis are thrilled to be partnering with a global Tier One contractor as they look to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a subsidiary of their rail business which focuses on manufacturing, maintenance and rail/utilities installations.
This is a stand out opportunity for an individual wanting to be part of a long term growth project, developing junior QS's and supporting the UK infrastructure across a range of industries. This will be mainly based in Hereford with some remote working.

The key requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role are:
- Lead the successful commercial delivery of complex contracts or major project segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Ensure full compliance with commercial processes, systems, and standards.
- Oversee and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors, inspiring high performance and continuous growth.
- Manage main and subcontractor administration, aligning with the commercial strategy to deliver project success.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate risks.
- Take an active role in Safety Leadership and contribute to the preparation and agreement of final accounts.
- Drive compliance and quality across the team, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Cultivate high-performing teams through clear direction, development opportunities, and recognition

Experience required for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role are:
- Substantial previous experience in Quantity Surveying obtained in a similar, relevant environment;
- Full membership of a recognised Professional Institute (i.e. RICS or CICES) is desirable
- Experience developing and mentoring junior team members
- A strong communicator able to manage internal and external processes.

Desirable knowledge, skills & experience for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role are:
- Previous experience in a Senior Quantity Surveying role.
- Evidence of leading and developing individuals.
- Working across a range of industries & sectors.
