Your responsibilities
In this senior role, you will take ownership of railway bridge projects from concept through to completion, combining technical design expertise with project leadership. You will be part of a specialised bridges and structures team, contributing to major rail infrastructure developments across Germany.
Key duties include:

Managing railway bridge projects independently across all planning phases

Designing bridge structures and other rail-related engineering works

Delivering preliminary, detailed, approval, and construction planning

Supporting and contributing to tendering and procurement processes
-
Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders

Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards
Your profile
-
Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering (MEng, MSc, or equivalent)

Around 7 years of experience in railway bridge design
-
Minimum 2 years of project management experience

Strong technical expertise in steel, composite, and reinforced concrete structures

Experience working on railway infrastructure projects

Familiarity with BIM methodologies is advantageous

Fluent German language skills (written and spoken)

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Confident, organised, and proactive approach to work
