We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our client for a substantial multi-million-euro school project in Tralee, Co. Kerry, and we are looking for a candidate with a strong track record of diverse project experience.
The project's duration is expected to span 24-36 months.
Key responsibilities for this Senior Engineer role:
- Management of day-to-day site quality assurance, including surveying, setting out duties, quality checks and approvals
- Assisting the site management teams with all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management.
- Setting out -Transferring digital and paper data/drawings onto site, and back into digital models enabling accurate and auditable record keeping. Preparing work schedules & allocating resources
- You will interface and work with the project team on delivery, engage with the Client, co-ordinate with the civil sub-contractor project management team on site from start-up through to handover
Experience required for this Senior Engineer role:
- Degree qualified and at least 4 years of experience in quantity surveying in the UK or Ireland (ideally Retail/Commercial).
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
- Full EU Driving License.
- Setting out experience, proficient with Total Stations + GPS.
Salary for this Senior Engineer role is between €65,000 - €75,000 DOE
(Negotiable dependent upon experience), bonus scheme, plus further additional benefits
