We are working with a leading Tier 1 main contractor seeking a Senior or highly experienced Design Manager to join their residential delivery team.
This role will involve working on major residential schemes across the UK, attending site 3-5 days per week. All travel, hotel etc. expenses will be fully covered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the full design process from pre-construction through delivery
- Coordinating consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Ensuring design compliance, buildability, and programme alignment
- Supporting project teams on live residential schemes
- Attending site regularly and driving design solutions on complex projects
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Design Manager / Senior Design Manager
- Strong residential accommodation project experience (essential)
- Background working with Tier 1 or large main contractors
- Comfortable working across multiple sites nationally
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Package:
- £65,000 - £75,000 salary (depending on experience)
- All travel, hotels, and food fully expensed
