Company Information

A Tier 1 contractor specialising in Rail / Civils looking for a Senior Design Manager to join their Rail Division Focusing on delivering diverse and challenging multi-disciplinary rail projects in The Midlands.

To be suitable for the position you must have

- 7-10 years experience in civil engineering design
- Strong background and experience as a Design Manager
- A strong understanding of Civils design processes
- PTS, CSCS and Membership to ICE
- Civil Engineering/Construction Experience
- Experience on Rail Civils projects (desirable)
- Minimum of HNC / HND in a relevant subject

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have

- Chartered Engineer Status MICE or equivalent
- Relevant Engineering Degree. (ideally Civil Engineering)

Role Information

- To interface directly with the project Engineering team
- To support the Project Manager with managing the contract
- To be the principle point of contact for design of a major project
- To be accountable for overall Design Management and compliance
- To promote Health Safety and Quality to the projects
