Job Title: Section Engineer
Location: Southampton

A fantastic Section Engineer opportunity has arisen with a Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor. This will be working on the Civils scope of works on a major Power / Energy project based in Southampton.
The successful Section Engineer will be responsible for delivering the works on time through allocating tasks to the Site Engineers, supervising through to completion, overseeing Engineering requirements to meet the overall construction plan.

Key responsibilities of this Section Engineer role:
• Project Management - effective use of Document Control, developing / approving relevant construction procedures, producing & approving method statements & risk assessments, overseeing Design works to ensure completed to task.
• Financial Management - maintaining allocated costs on section of works.
• Quality - supervises on-site inspection process.
• BIM - understanding of documentation & standards.
Experience required for this Section Engineer role:
• Proven experience working for a Contractor on Civils projects, particularly RF & Groundworks.
• Sound Engineering experience.
• Will require existing / obtaining of security clearance.
Package offered for this role:
• £40,000 - £44,000 base salary DOE
• Co car / car allowance
• Pension
• 26 days annual leave + BH
