Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well known Main Contractor working on a large Major Highways/Civils related project.
The company is a well know Main Contractor who operate nationwide throughout the UK and have a number of Regional offices. Your role as Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor you will joining an award winning business who will be part of the Commercial Team, you will be responsible for looking after all Commercial aspects on the project. The role will involve working closely with the delivery team.

Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- Carrying out the day-to-day administration of the commercial and financial aspects of projects.
- Close liaison with the Project Management Team(s).
- Preparing Cost and Value reporting.
- Preparing commercial performance reports.
- Manage procurement including labour, plant, materials, and subcontract.
- Involvement in Pre and Post contract activities.
- Cost control.
- Change Control.
- Cash collection.
- Subcontract management and liaison.
Experience required for this Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- Experience in the Highways/Civils/Infrastructure sector
- NEC 4 Experience
- Preferably degree qualified in a related area, such as Quantity Surveying or equal experience in the same field.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and work with staff at all levels.
- Able to react to constant changing workloads.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Strong IT Skills
Package offered for this Senior Quantity Surveyor Role:
- Basic Salary of up to £70,000 Negotiable for the right individual
- Package
