This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an established Data Centre contractor to support the Commercial and Project Management teams.
Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a new Multi-Million Euro Data Centre Project, Delivering Technically Complex Packages in Milan that is currently in Construction phase.
Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Manage subcontractor packages from award through to final account
- Assess and negotiate variations and change orders
- Monitor cost-to-complete and maintain budget control
- Support procurement and subcontractor selection
- Review and validate subcontractor valuations and invoices
- Contribute to monthly commercial reporting
- Work closely with site management to align cost and programme
- Identify and mitigate commercial risk
Experience required for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- 5+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying / Cost Engineering
- Strong subcontractor management and negotiation experience
- Experience working within construction delivery environments
- Exposure to fit-out, industrial, logistics, or technically demanding builds
- Confident managing variations and cost reporting
- Proficient in English, Italian would be beneficial
Package offered for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Up to £500 day rate // approx €573 per day (DOE and on exchange)
- €344 per month tax-free subsistence every month
- €370 per month car allowance
