About the Role
We are seeking a commercially astute and driven Quantity Surveyor to join our Manchester-based team at one of the UK's most respected PLC housebuilders. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-volume residential developments, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all commercial aspects of multiple residential projects from inception to completion
Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts
Procure subcontractors and manage subcontractor accounts
Liaise closely with construction, technical, and sales teams to ensure successful project delivery
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the residential sector (volume housebuilding essential)
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial processes in housing
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite
