Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

A fantastic Quantity Surveyor opportunity has arisen with a Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor. This will be working on the Civils scope of works on a major Power / Energy project based in Southampton.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial aspects of a project / section of a larger project, assisting in protecting the commercial position by developing & implementing an in depth understanding of contractual, commercial, insurance & legal processes relating to contracts.

Key responsibilities of this Quantity Surveyor role:
• Prepare all subcontract notices accurate & timely.
• Remeasurement & provision of quantified schedules of work / bills of quantities.
• Understand & maintain contractual relationships between stakeholders.
• Procurement, cash flow & cost control responsibilities.
• Contribute to change control.
Experience required for this Quantity Surveyor role:
• Proven experience working for a Contractor on Civils projects, particularly RF & Groundworks.
• Ideally commercially related Degree - desirable.
• Will require existing / obtaining of security clearance.
Package offered for this Quantity Surveyor role:
• £40,000 - £44,000 base salary DOE
• Co car / car allowance
• Pension
• 26 days annual leave + BH
• Company Share Scheme
