My client is seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager with a strong background in the energy sector to lead and coordinate projects focused on renewable energy, oil & gas and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of energy-related projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, risk assessments, and resource allocation schedules.
- Monitor project progress and performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Ensure all projects comply with environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Report regularly to senior management and clients on milestones, risks, and deliverables.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and project outcomes.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of project management experience in the energy sector (renewables, oil & gas, utilities, etc.)
- Proven experience managing budgets and schedules.
- Strong understanding of energy regulations, sustainability principles, and permitting processes.
- Proficiency in project management
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results under minimal supervision.
