RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Assume responsibility for rail projects.

-          Handover by the BID team to the closing of the contract, through the implementation of the project, the design phases, the production of the vehicle, the tests, the authorization and the handover of the vehicle to the client

-          Takes responsibility for expected results in terms of time, cost and quality, ensuring that projects are completed safely.

-          Takes responsibility for profit and loss and client satisfaction, ensuring that projects are completed on time, with ambitious profitability and with the required quality.

-          Define in advance the number of the core project team and forward information, when available resources do not match the needs of the project.

-          Lead a team, including the core team and, where applicable, project managers of internal and external

-          Provide objectives to project team members (supply chain, logistics, engineering, production, commissioning, certification, etc.), to ensure that all deliverables are controlled and completed in accordance with the project plan.

-          Employs excellent communication skills to complete projects and engage with internal and external partners in a timely manner.

-          Represents, alone or as part of a team, in meetings with high-level stakeholders, including customer representatives at the director level.

-          Prepare and provide monthly project reports, presentations to management and internal and external stakeholders.

-          Prepare and conduct regular project validation reviews

-          Monitor and optimize key performance indicators defined throughout the project

 

QUALIFICATIONS

-          Technical studies (e.g. electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering) or equivalent technical degree completed

-          Demonstrated ability in project management or, at least, in another functional area (in the railway business) such as service, engineering/development in a project manager role

-          Experience and collaboration in international project teams

-          Good knowledge of railway products and systems

-          Project management skills, with an understanding of commercial, financial and contractual aspects

-          Diplomatic communication skills to deal with internal and external clients l Team management (ability to coordinate and ensure collaboration of multi-site teams)

-          Leadership, entrepreneurship and results-oriented

-          Full professional fluency in written and oral English and French
