They are seeking an experienced High-Rise Project Manager to lead their ambitious project in the heart of downtown Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, from conception to completion, ensuring projects are executed with excellence, on time, and within budget. Reporting to the Director of Construction, the High-Rise Project Manager will lead a cross-functional team and collaborate closely with stakeholders to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage high-rise residential projects all through the GTA, particularly downtown ranging from 20 to 50 floors, ensuring they are delivered with exceptional quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, budget allocation, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of project elements, from architectural concept to construction documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to source materials, equipment, and subcontractors while optimizing costs and maintaining quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure project goals are met and exceeded.
- Provide clear and effective communication to stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project objectives, milestones, and progress.
- Monitor project performance against established KPIs, identify potential issues, and proactively implement corrective actions.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation within the project team, encouraging best practices and continuous improvement.
- Oversee financial aspects of projects, including budget tracking, change order management, and cost control.
- Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and presentations to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in high-rise residential project management, with a focus on buildings between 20 and 50 floors.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations related to high-rise projects.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation Package:
- 130,000 - $165,000 based on experience and qualifications.
