Project Engineer
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join a well known Tier 1 contractor working on a large water infrastructure programme across the Anglian Region.
The company is a well know Tier 1 contractor who operate nationwide throughout the UK and have a number of Regional offices. Your role as Project Engineer you will be enabling projects to be delivered to time, cost specification as well as client needs as well as regulations and needs of other stakeholders. Works are to be carried out on a large water framework.

Key responsibilities for this Project Engineer role:
- Support the Delivery/Operational Manager in the delivery of MEICA projects
- Work in times of high workload
- Support the capture of asset changes in relevant corporate systems
- Raise Early Warning Notices and change requests when required if projects incur delays in time or increases in cost to Programme Manager
- Calculate risk index to ensure the data and processes in place are robust and auditable
- You will challenge data, confirm the need and analyse risk to establish clear cost and risk benefit proposition
- Complete and comply with all operational Health and Safety requirements to ensure safe working practices
- Ensure personal H&S and MTRA are completed and valid. Also ensuring any near misses are recorded
Experience required for this Project Engineer role:
- Experience in a similar role
- Water industry experience preferred
- Hold appropriate engineering qualification
- Appreciation of health and safety legislation
- Strong Customer and Stakeholder management
- Strong negotiation skills
